USphere™ Series - Microbubble agent is designed for various academic research needs, including contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging, targeted imaging, drug delivery, and advanced applications such as gene transfection using sonoporation technology. This series of products features small microbubble sizes and high concentrations. USphere™ Series products are compatible with common clinical diagnostic ultrasound systems and can be used with high-resolution/high-frequency ultrasound ranging from 10 to 40 MHz providing clear and accurate microcirculation blood flow information, assisting in scientific research on cardiovascular diseases, cancers, and others.


Series Products

The USphere™ Prime agents are gas filled (perfluoropropane or perfluorobutane) with a phosopholipid shell. The small size distribution allows the microbubbles to flow easily through all levels of the vascular tree, including the capillaries.

The USphere™ Labeler agents have been pre-functionalized with biotin, avidin, or Stretptavidin, to allow for the addition of specific targeting moieties including small peptides and antibodies. These agents may be customized to target specific biomarkers of interest.

The USphere™ Tracer agents and the USphere™ Labeler with Fluorescence, have been modified to include a fluorescent dye allowing for multi-modal imaging with a fluorescence imaging system. This may be relevant for pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics or other applications where fluorescent imaging is important.

The USphere™ Trans+ agents have been functionalized with a positively charged surface. These microbubbles can easily yield a high payload making drug delivery and gene transfection more targeted, effective, and simpler than traditional techniques.
